Hand-carved Australian Songbird: DecoBird Silvereye
The silvereye, also known as wax-eye, is a small, olive-green Australian songbird with distinctive white feathers outlining its eyes. Our DecoBird Silvereye captures the bird's iconic features through skilfully hand-painted details using water-based paints. The hand-carved bird sits atop a wooden, branch-shaped, block, which is sawn in half, allowing it to be placed as a playful, yet classic decoration on your dresser, bookshelf or cupboard.
DecoBird Silvereye comes in a simple yet attractive gift box that includes a short informative booklet about the species - perfect as a gift for a budding ornithologist!
Our DecoBirds lifelike appearance is thanks to a design process aided by ornithological expertise.
