The eastern rosella is a curious and beautiful parrot. It lives in Australia and Tasmania in the wild but is common worldwide as a pet. They grow to about 30 cm in length and are very colourful with bright red, blue, yellow, and green patches. Eastern rosella parrots live in pairs in large flocks of the same species. They live off a diet of seeds, fruit, flowers, nectar, and insects. These birds are long-lived and have an average lifespan of 15-20 years.
