Decorative cast iron wildlife sculpture common kestrel
Our cast iron kestrel is a realistic sculpture of a sitting kestrel. It can be placed both indoors and outdoors, but keep in mind that as it is made of cast iron it will rust if kept in a humid environment. Many people appreciate the patina this creates. About the common kestrel
The kestrel is often recognised by its ability to hover while looking for prey. You can see kestrels along highways and in open fields as they hunt for small rodents. They often nest in high places close to humans; in old crows’ nests, in hollow trees and church towers.
