About the Jack Russell Terrier
Originally from England, the Jack Russell Terrier is named after the Reverend John Russell who developed the breed in the 1800s. It is a strong and agile little dog and was originally intended for fox hunting.
It has a height at the withers of about 25-30 cm and comes in two fur varieties, smooth and rough. It is a very popular companion dog with high self-confidence. A sociable and active little terrier that is ideal for dog sports such as agility.
